Shionogi Healthcare Isojin Antiviral Mouthwash

This is a gargle medicine that contains the active ingredient Povidone-iodine.
It helps disinfect and sterilize the throat and oral cavity, suppressing the growth of bacteria and viruses from the mouth and throat.

Size: 50 ml

Ingredients: 

Povidone-iodine: 70 mg (equivalent to 7 mg of available iodine), ethanol, l-menthol, saccharin sodium, and flavoring, pH adjuster, acidulants.

Directions:

1. Dilute 4–6 mL of the solution with about 60 mL of water per use.

2. Gargle 1–3 times daily.

How to Gargle:

• Take an appropriate amount into your mouth and gargle thoroughly to cleanse your throat.

• Do not drink the solution.

• Avoid using immediately before going to bed to prevent the medicine from staying in the mouth.

Do NOT Use If:

• You have a history of allergic reactions (rash, redness, itching, etc.) to this product or to iodine.

• You have thyroid disorders.

Consult a Doctor or Pharmacist Before Use If:

• You are currently receiving medical treatment.

• You are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant.

• You are breastfeeding.

• You have a history of allergic reactions to medications, etc.

During Use:

• If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist:

• If symptoms do not improve after 5–6 days of use, discontinue and consult a doctor.

Storage and Handling:

• Keep tightly sealed and store in a cool, dark place.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not transfer to another container (to avoid misuse and quality deterioration).

• Do not use past the expiration date.
