MUHI Liquid Muhi Alpha EX Anti-Itch Ointment

This formula combines an anti-inflammatory ingredient (PVA: Prednisolone Valerate Acetate Ester) that works well on inflammation, with Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride to quickly alleviate itching. It is effective against insect bites from mites, fleas, caterpillars, centipedes, jellyfish, etc.

PVA is a steroid ingredient classified as highly effective in general medicines. It exhibits excellent anti-inflammatory effects at the affected site, and then changes into a low-activity substance. This makes it less likely to cause typical steroid side effects.

Liquid Muhi Alpha EX is suitable not only for insect bites but also for treating rashes, dermatitis, and other skin irritations.

It contains two cooling ingredients (L-Menthol and dL-Camphor) and delivers a strong, refreshing cooling sensation, which quickly relieves itching.

The easy-to-use container allows for application without dirtying your hands, using a simple applicator cap.

Directions: Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area several times a day.

Ingredients (per 100 ml):

• Prednisolone Valerate Acetate Ester (PVA): 0.15g

• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride: 1.0g

• L-Menthol: 3.5g

• dL-Camphor: 1.0g

• Isopropyl Methylphenol: 0.1g

• Additives: BHT, Ethanol

Precautions: 

• Follow the prescribed dosage and directions.

• When using on children, ensure usage under the supervision of an adult. The recommended age for use is 6 months or older.

• Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, immediately rinse with water or lukewarm water. If symptoms like redness, pain, or persistent tearing occur, seek medical attention from an ophthalmologist.

• For external use only. Do not ingest.

Things You Should Not Do
(Non-compliance can worsen symptoms or increase the risk of side effects/accidents)

1. Do not use on the following areas:

• Waterpox (chickenpox), ringworm, or infected areas.

• Wounded skin, around the eyes, mucous membranes, etc.

2. Do not use extensively on the face.

3. Do not use for long periods (for the face, within 2 weeks; for other areas, within 4 weeks).

Consultation:

1. Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if:

• You are undergoing medical treatment.

• You are pregnant or suspect you might be pregnant.

• You have previously experienced allergic reactions (such as rashes, redness, itching, irritation) to medicines.

• The affected area is large.

• You have severe wetness or irritation on the skin.

2. If any of the following symptoms appear after use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, taking this leaflet with you:

• Skin: Rash, redness, itching, swelling.

• Affected area: Ringworm, acne, infection, persistent irritation.

3. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, taking this leaflet with you.
