SANTEN Medical Guard EX Eye Drops

Sante Medical Guard EX is a carefully formulated eye drop containing 10 active ingredients, including a maximum concentration of six key components such as Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide Sodium (active Vitamin B2), which promotes corneal tissue metabolism and repair, and Chondroitin Sulfate Ester Sodium, which helps moisturize and protect the cornea. These eye drops effectively repairs and protects corneal damage, making it beneficial for preventing eye inflammation and eye diseases.

Ideal for:

• Relief from eye inflammation caused by UV rays and other light sources (such as snow blindness)

• Relief from eyelid inflammation (eyelid irritation)

• Prevention of eye conditions (after swimming or exposure to dust or sweat)

• Relief from eye fatigue, itching, and blurriness (especially when there’s excessive eye discharge)

• Conjunctival congestion

• Discomfort caused by wearing hard contact lenses

Dosage and Administration

• Apply 1-3 drops per time, 5-6 times a day.

Important Precautions

1. Overuse may cause excessive brightness or even worsen redness.

2. If using for children, please use under the supervision of a guardian.

3. Do not let the dropper touch the eye, eyelids, or eyelashes. Contamination may occur from eye discharge or bacteria, which could cause the medication to become cloudy. If the solution becomes cloudy, do not use it.

4. Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses.

• Epsilon-Aminocaproic Acid: 1.0%

• Glycyrrhizin Dipotassium: 0.25%

• Tetrahydrozoline Hydrochloride: 0.01%

• Additives: Sodium Edetate, Chlorobutanol, Geraniol, Dextrin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Benzalkonium Chloride, Borax, Polysorbate 80, d-Borneol, L-Menthol, Isotonic agents, pH adjusters.

Note on Ingredients

• After use, you may experience a sweet taste in your mouth, which is caused by Glycyrrhizin Dipotassium flowing into your mouth through the tear ducts. This is a normal reaction and not a sign of a quality issue.

Precautions

   • Have been diagnosed with glaucoma

2. If you experience any of the following side effects after use, stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller:

   • Skin: Rash, redness, itching

   • Eyes: Redness, itching, swelling, or a stinging sensation

3. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if:

   • Blurriness does not improve

   • Symptoms persist after 5-6 days of use

Storage and Handling

1. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not leave in hot places such as a car or near heating devices, as the container may deform, leading to leakage or degradation of the solution.

2. Keep out of reach of children.

3. Do not transfer to another container, as it may lead to incorrect use or alter the product’s quality.

4. Do not share with others.

5. Do not use past the expiration date, and if opened, use the product as soon as possible.

6. If you notice yellow crystals around the dropper tip or inside the cap, wipe them off gently with a clean cloth before use.

7. The yellow color of the solution is from Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide Sodium (active Vitamin B2). If the solution spills and stains clothing, wash it with water immediately.
